**Qualifications:**
For GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyze, prepare, submit, and process prior year funding documents; 2) Interpret and reconcile prior year accounts between official and unofficial financial systems and clear prior year suspense accounts (labor and non-labor); 3) Review outstanding billing errors and making corrective actions, identifying each sponsoring agency point of contact to coordinate and communicate corrective actions and; 4) Use an office automation software program to compose financial reports to provide status updates or business information. For GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assist with accurately preparing, submitting, and processing prior year funding documents; 2) Assist with reconciling prior year accounts between official and unofficial financial systems and clear prior year suspense accounts (labor and non-labor); 3) Assist with the review of outstanding billing errors to identify each sponsoring agency point of contact to coordinate corrective action and 4) Assist in development, determination, and interpretation of budgetary policies and practices. NPS is a graduate education and advanced research institution with a mission to provide relevant and unique advanced education and research programs to increase the combat effectiveness of commissioned officers of the Naval Service and enhance the security of the United States. NPS employs a workforce consisting of Department of Navy civilian employees (General Schedule and Administratively Determined schedules) and active-duty military personnel from all services.
