Job Description
You will serve as a Firefighter (BLS/HAZMAT TECHNICIAN) in the Fire and Emergency Services department of NAVSUPPACT SOUDA BAY.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Controlling or extinguishing fires as a member of an organized military, industrial, volunteer, or governmental fire department brigade; performing rescue operations; and detecting, reducing, or eliminating potential fire hazards and; 2) Controlling hazardous materials incidents; driving and operating firefighting vehicles; and performing non-invasive emergency medical procedures and; 3) Performing work at airfields handling aircraft carrying large volumes of fuel, sometimes nuclear weapons or highly flammable or explosive cargo.
