Job Description

About the position: This position will be assigned to the NAF Community Services Flight Office. This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 96th Force Support Squadron at Eglin AFB Florida. Position is Regular Full-time (RFT) guaranteed 35-40 hours per week. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must possess sufficient experience in managing civilian or military retail, recreation, food service or other commercial business enterprises which provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position. Must have experience in planning, analyzing, and implementing budget requirements. Skill in effectively organizing and utilizing available community resources to augment the flight's program needs. Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, as well as safety, security, personnel management and EO regulations, practices, and procedures. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization. The ability to use a variety of computer software programs in the execution of job-related duties, to include word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics is required. Skill in written and oral communication to present issues and recommendations regarding program. A Bachelor's degree or higher is desirable.
