Chiropractor

The VA Puget Sound Healthcare System is recruiting for two Chiropractors for their new Clinically Based Outpatient Clinic in Auburn, Washington. The Chiropractor provides evaluation and management of spine and musculoskeletal conditions to eligible beneficiaries.

**Qualifications:**
Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Chiropractor Basic Requirements: The individual must be a graduate of a chiropractic college accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education or its successor. For acupuncture/dry needling, the chiropractor must complete requisite training in accordance with their state or district license. A current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice chiropractic in a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required. For acupuncture/dry needling, must maintain current, active, valid and unrestricted appropriate endorsement from state or district of licensure. To qualify for clinical privileges, must document services for at least 100 patients during the past 24 months. Optional credentials include postgraduate credits approved or accredited by an appropriate State licensing board, recognized diplomate status, formal hospital staff privileges (or evidence of actively seeking hospital privileges) at a nationally accredited health care facility. The full performance level of this vacancy is GS-14. The actual grade at which an applicant may be selected for this vacancy is in the range of GS-11 to GS-14.
