Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management, Integrated Services Division, Real Property Program Management Office located in one of the following locations: Aliso Viejo, CA Euless, TX
**Qualifications:**
Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Overseeing and coordinating construction activities related to a customer's initial space alterations or post-occupancy space alterations. Preparing site evaluation reports by researching and identifying available properties, conducting site surveys, and assembling and analyzing pertinent property acquisition cost data and evaluating adequacy of property to meet both mission requirements and accessibility/proximity to other operational elements. Exercising applicable and relevant authorities when lessors fail to perform lease requirements. Reviewing and participating in contracting actions involving the negotiation, review, and evaluation of offers and award of lease alterations. Coaching the team in the selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques, provide advice on work methods, practices and procedures, and assist the team and/or individual members in identifying the parameters of a viable solution.
