ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC

You will serve as an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic in the Production Division, Public Works Department, of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Monitoring and analyzing indications and readings for individual systems or subsystems to determine integrated system operational condition and isolate faults. 2) Setting up and operating electronic test equipment. 3) Solving difficult testing problems that arise by applying a broad range of electronic principles, analyzing malfunctions, and devising repair procedures. 4) Performing operational checks, calibration, and final testing of electronic instruments and equipment Applicants must meet the requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Job Qualification Handbook for Trades and Labor Occupations.
