Job Description
This position is located in the Office of Administration, of the U.S. Access Board. The U.S. Access Board (AB) is an independent Federal agency devoted to advancing accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities. Access Board operates with approximately thirty staff and a governing board of representatives from Federal departments and public members appointed by the President.
**Qualifications:**
You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Advise senior leadership on resource management and administrative programs, reviewing policies and recommending improvements to support agency operations; AND Lead projects and studies, preparing reports and briefings to support decision-making and improve program effectiveness; AND Advise leadership on financial management and administrative functions, including policy updates, audits, and program oversight to ensure compliance and efficiency. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a nontemporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
