Job Description
This position is located within the Obstruction Evaluation (OE) Group (AJV-A5) in support of the National Airspace System (NAS). AJV-A5 is responsible for evaluating notices of proposed or built structures to determine the extent of any adverse impact on the safe and efficient use of airspace, facilities, or equipment. The incumbent leads initiatives and projects for the team and group to achieve specific tasks, produce work products and services, and meet program and production goals.
**Qualifications:**
To qualify at the FG/GS-14 level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FG/GS-13 level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized Experience includes: Experience validating, analyzing, or evaluating impact of proposed or existing structures or alterations that may result in obstruction or an interference with air navigation facilities and equipment or the navigable airspace; air traffic control experience; development and maintenance of instrument flight procedures.
