Maintenance Worker

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Foster Creek Villas in Foster Creek, SC This position is Flexible, meaning you are guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours per week to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Your schedule will depend on needs of the facility.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: General knowledge and experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and grounds maintenance. Experience must have included use of a variety of hand and power tools such as drills, saws, hammers, chisels, wrenches, screwdrivers, lawnmowers, edgers, and weedeaters. Position requires walking, standing, stooping and lifting up to 100 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI).
