These positions are located within various offices. The offices include RES, CNRI, NMSS and OAR. These positions are subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. These positions are subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements
**Qualifications:**
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: experience supervising or providing direction, guidance, or leadership to a technical or project organization, group and/or team, on policy or technical issues. Experience participating in managing work processes and/or utilization of resources. Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Leadership and Management of Technical Staff Ability to lead and manage a diverse technical workforce supporting mission-critical programs with competing priorities, resource constraints, and evolving requirements. (Evaluate demonstrated experience in workforce management, team leadership, organizational coordination, implementation of policy and practice changes, staffing and resource planning, performance management, application of EEO principles, internal controls, and delegation of authority.) Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, and to build and sustain effective relationships across organizations and stakeholder groups. (Evaluate communication clarity, effectiveness with diverse audiences, ability to lead discussions, synthesize complex viewpoints, represent organizational positions, and build coalitions across internal and external stakeholders.) Technical Knowledge and Regulatory Application Knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks and ability to interpret and apply rules, policies, and standards to support sound, risk-informed decision-making. Evaluate depth and breadth of knowledge of regulatory requirements, ability to interpret and apply guidance, and use of risk insights in decision-making.
