Supervisory Accountant NF-04

This position is located at Defense Finance and Accounting Service- Texarkana.. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

**Qualifications:**
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: A bachelor's degree is required which included a minimum of 24 semester hours in accounting and professional work experience of the type described above. or Combination of education and experience - at least 4 years of experience in accounting, or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge. The applicant's background must also include one of the following: 1. Twenty-four semester hours in accounting or auditing courses of appropriate type and quality. This can include up to 6 hours of business law; 2. A certificate as Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor, obtained through written examination; or 3. Completion of the requirements for a degree that included substantial course work in accounting or auditing, e.g. 15 semester hours, but that does not fully the 24-semester hour requirement. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Professional experience working within a Department of Defense (DoD) Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) accounting environment. Possess at least one year of supervisory experience. Possess at least one year of experience as a second-line supervisor (or equivalent), where your primary duty was directing the work of other first-line supervisors.
