Job Description

About the Position: Incumbent ensures that the procedures and administration control of the PM responsibilities are accomplished effectively, smoothly, orderly and that administrative details are not overlooked, allowing the PM to concentrate on professional and managerial duties. The effectiveness of NOHC support provided to all USACE Districts is affected by the degree that the NOHC runs smoothly.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1. performing and coordinating a variety of clerical and administrative work for an office to include coordination with other personnel and scheduling events.2. Executing a procurement process or program to include researching, ordering, and procuring equipment or services.3. Preparing and sending correspondence and communicating effectively via telephone, verbal, and email.4. Managing personnel records and assisting with preparation of documents used for personnel actions.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
