About the Position: The Chief of Security for USACE Mission Support Battalion. This position is permanent.

Specialized experience: 1) Applying security and intelligence technical methods, policies, regulations, and procedures to manage and provide advice and guidance on multi-discipline security program areas to include Personnel Security (PERSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC), Foreign Disclosure (FD), and Industrial Security (INDUSEC): 2) Providing general direction to Program Managers and workers; 3) Developing work improvement plans and recommending personnel actions as necessary; 4) Developing long/short range strategic planning that initiates projects that are intended to update and modernize current security policy; AND 5) Preparing and presenting oral and written presentations related to security matters. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Security Management Communications Strategy Information Security Organizational Awareness Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
