Job Description
You will serve as a Supervisory Contract Specialist in the Contracts & Acquisition Management Office of NAVAL INFORMATION FORCES.
**Qualifications:**
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with contract management, acquisition/procurement management, and analytical theories, principles, and practices. Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and Navy Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS). Experience with large reports, audits, and studies and distill them down to concise summaries that communicate key facts and identify critical decision leverage points. Experience with the practical application of the theories and techniques of quantitative and qualitative analysis and cost benefit analysis. Expert in applying complex fact-finding, analytical, and problem solving methods and techniques to identify interrelated program problems, draw conclusions, develop. Experience and skill in communicating effectively with senior officials within the Navy and other organizations. Experience with automatic data processing and information security systems, particularly budget, programming and cost estimating methods.
