COMMANDERS ACTION GROUP

You will serve as COMMANDER ACTION GROUP in the FOURTH FLEET of COMDR US NAV FORCES SOUTHERN CMD.

**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying expert knowledge of Component command organization, function, authorities, relationships, policies, missions and strategies in order to effectively plan and execute U.S. Navy policy development process from the strategic environment assessment, through command strategy and strategic plans as well as developing resourcing naval forces basing and posture guidance for the area of responsibility. Experience applying extensive knowledge in the joint, combined, and interagency arenas is required to further U.S. Navy strategic development process and goals. Experience in joint and interagency application and processes. Experience applying expert communications skills including complete mastery of all commonly accepted writing and editing techniques and skill in applying those techniques in the preparation of strategic documents and briefs to senior U.S. and foreign officials. Experience justifying and defending strategic conclusions that relate to requirements and capabilities for naval forces to meet the challenges of the USSOUTHCOM operating environment.
