Job Description

You will serve as a ENGINEER / ARCHITECT (COST ESTIMATOR) in the BUSINESS DIRECTORATE of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC.

**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing services to all activities and tenants for a broad range of facilities by developing sound cost estimating products; 2) Providing cost estimating support in facility construction projects for new construction, renovation and improvement projects for a variety of construction projects; 3) Developing construction costs by analyzing labor and material requirements for projects utilizing cost estimating principles, concepts and policies; 4) Using software products to develop and provide cost estimates; and 5) Understanding construction task based scheduling, productivity rates, and development of crews and task.
