About the Position: Serves as the Chief of the Logistics Management Office (LM), responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall logistics program for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) District in Europe. Europe District Headquarters is located at McCully Barracks, part of the U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden Community.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Executing logistics plans and programs, which involve assisting with operational plans, performance goals, and following policies to guide logistics activities; (2) Performing diverse logistics functions, such as supply, property accountability, transportation, and facility management; (3) Working with a variety of team members, contacts, and stakeholders to accomplish complex logistics operations; (4) Analyzing logistics programs to identify deficiencies and make recommendations to improve operational efficiency; AND (5) Leading a logistics element as part of a larger, integrated staff working towards a common mission set and leadership's priorities in a highly dynamic environment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral Communication Planning and Evaluating Problem Solving Technical Credibility Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
