Job Description
You will serve as a MARINE TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST in the Military Sealift Command Headquarters (MSCHQ), Director of Maritime Operations (DMO), Operations and Plans (N3), Future Operations (N32), Dry Cargo Office (N321A), Norfolk, VA of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience initiating procurement actions to obtain ships to meet special cargo lifts. Experience conducting market research and performing necessary contract actions to obtain appropriate dry cargo sealift vessels. Experience managing contractual requirements in the performance of dry cargo movements. Experience utilizing federal funding mechanisms and processes to appropriately pay for chartered vessels.
