ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DHA for Certain DoDPersonnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as an Electronics Technician specializing in electronic and electrical systems and components at a large area office with support also provided to other field sites throughout the Detroit District.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-10 level which includes knowledge of electronic theories and converting theoretical ideas into practical applications; skills of working with programmable logic controllers (PLC), ladder logic, I/O modules, an industrial human machine interface (HMI, PanelView), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), fire alarm systems, electronic intrusion detection system, access control system, CCTV type technologies, Operating Systems, variable frequency drives lead/lag motor starters, Ethernet/IP, relays, 3-wire ungrounded systems, and controls equipment typical of industry or typical of work performed.
