About the Position: Works under the supervision of the Logistics Delivery Point supervisor. Receives assignments in terms of their scope and receives guidance on recommendations for actions for new or unusual problems. Expected to plan and independently execute assignments to resolve problems within the US Army Corps of Engineers policies, objectives, and guidelines.

Specialized Experience GS-09: One year of specialized experience which includes: Knowledge of technical methods and principles related to facilities management, used to plan and design difficult but well-precedented projects. Carry out successive steps of a project, handling routine problems, and making adjustments based on established policies or previous training. Ability to analyze different and unrelated processes to determine a course of action from various alternatives. This experience must be equivalent to the work of a GS-07 in the federal service. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Specialized Experience GS-11: I have one year of specialized experience which includes: Planning and executing programs for facilities management, including energy conservation and major and/or minor repairs. Conduct detailed physical inspections of structures to identify deficiencies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and safety regulations. Prepare annual budget estimates for facility matters and managing work requests using systems like the International Merchant Purchase Authorization Card (I.M.P.A.C.) credit card. Interpret and implement complex regulations related to physical security, structural repairs, and utilities management. This experience must be equivalent to the work of a GS-09 in the federal service. OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07/09).
