Job Description
You will serve as a in the COUNTERINTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SUPPORT OFFICER of NAVAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIVE SERVICE (NCIS). All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. **Qualifications:**
GS-13: Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that includes: Applying counterintelligence concepts and principles to support operations of a complex and sensitive nature; Coordinating operational activities and sharing information with other government or law enforcement agencies; Conducting complex studies of operational processes and recommending solutions; and Communicating complex and sensitive information to a variety of audiences. GS-12: Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that includes: Assisting in the application of counterintelligence concepts to support operations; Helping to coordinate operational activities with other agencies; Assisting in conducting studies of operational processes; and preparing written and oral reports to support mission activities.
