<p>You'll be a core contributor to the Admin Experience team.</p>
<ul>
<li>Design and develop secure, well-tested features across a TypeScript/Node.js backend and React frontend</li>
<li>Contribute to our API-first infrastructure — the engine behind how partners integrate insurance into their products</li>
<li>Build AI-powered features using Claude and Gemini — from intelligent claims automation to LLM-assisted OPS tooling we run in production today</li>
<li>Design and implement agentic workflows — multi-step, LLM-orchestrated processes that replace manual ops tasks across claims, support, and partner onboarding</li>
<li>Work across the full stack with PostgreSQL, Redis, DocumentDB, Kafka, and AWS</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with Product, Platform Engineering, Finance, and Operations to turn business requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions</li>
<li>Drive technical improvements in quality, performance, and security — your initiative is welcome, not just tolerated
We operate in a regulated environment (BaFin, DORA, EU compliance), so thoughtfulness about security and data integrity — including when AI is in the loop — is part of the job.</li>

<h2>This is what you bring to the table</h2>
<p>You don't need to tick every box. If this sounds like your kind of work, we want to hear from you.</p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years as a Software Engineer — we care about the quality of your experience, not just the length</li>
<li>Very strong command of TypeScript / JavaScript and Node.js; familiarity with React is a plus</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or similar) — you've built something real with them, not just experimented</li>
<li>Familiarity with AI-native development patterns: prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, tool/function calling, agentic orchestration, or MCP</li>
<li>Comfort reasoning about AI reliability and risk in production — output validation, fallback strategies, observability of LLM-driven flows</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with databases like PostgreSQL, Redis, or DocumentDB; event-driven systems (Kafka or similar) are a bonus</li>
<li>Comfort working in AWS environments with Docker and CI/CD pipelines</li>
<li>Solid understanding of DDD, SOLID principles, and modern system design</li>
<li>Experience writing unit, integration, and contract tests — including how to test non-deterministic AI components</li>
<li>Experience in fintech, insurtech, payments, or banking integrations — or genuine curiosity to learn the domain</li>
<li>Clear communicator who can hold a technical discussion and a product conversation in the same meeting
Fluent in English — German or other languages are a plus</li>
