You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent in the federal service, performing duties such as: Serving as contracting officer representative for all procurement and contracting actions in an office or operational unit; Providing expert technical advice to customers related to contract support, and resolving challenges that may arise; Maintaining contract files for each assigned contract, ensuring all files are accurate and complete; Preparing reports and correspondence regarding the status of assigned projects; Providing technical assistance and direct support to management and staff on contracts and/or agreements. You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent in the federal service, performing duties such as: Serving as a contracting officer representative and technical expert for all contracts and agreements for an office or large operational unit with responsibility for ensuring timelines and accuracy in the contractual process; Independently managing a portfolio of multiple, complex contracts and inter- agency/organization agreements; Preparing reports/correspondence for submission to senior management regarding the status of contracts and procurement related matters; Developing and conducting contract requirement analysis, independent cost estimates, and cost benefit analysis; Preparing statements of work, performance work statements, quality assurance surveillance programs, and/or statements of objectives; and maintaining all contractual documentation.
