Job Description
This position is located in the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Although the position is advertised equivalent to GS-13, MCC uses a pay-band system to compensate employees. This position is pay band 4A which is generally equal to GS-13.
**Qualifications:**
To qualify for Pay Band 4A applicants must meet the following: Qualifying experience for Pay Band 4A includes one year of specialized experience (comparable to the Pay Band Bx or GS-12 or equivalent non-federal experience), which is directly related to the work of this position, and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. For this position, examples of specialized experience are: providing programmatic and administrative support to senior executives, particularly in a legal environment; coordinating administrative program operations and activities such as work flow management, scheduling, overseeing travel plans and itineraries, preparing and reviewing correspondence, and managing travel, budget, contracts, scheduling, etc.; developing and managing tracking and reporting tools to track work activities, correspondence, prepare reports, coordinate meetings and other activities, etc.; conducting research and analysis related to program operations and generating briefing materials; drafting correspondence, recommendations, reports, and memoranda; and reviewing and editing documents for accuracy. Note: This experience MUST be well documented within your resume or application. Highly Desirable: Experience as a Contracting Officer Representatives (COR). Please include this experience in your resume. Time-in-Grade: Time-in-grade requirements apply. You must have one year of Federal service equivalent to Pay Band 4b or GS-12 to be eligible for Pay Band 4A.
