THIS IS AN AIR NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION UNIT: 133rd Maintenance Squadron LOCATION: St. Paul, Minnesota SELECTING OFFICIAL: MSgt Matthew Lucia 612-713-2724 AIR NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED Appointment is subject to 2 year trial period IAW EO 14284
**Qualifications:**
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. GENERAL AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: Work involves the fabrication, modification, repair, assembly, and installation of sheet metal parts, items, and assemblies. Metals include but are not restricted to galvanized and black iron, aluminum and aluminum alloys, stainless steel, copper, and brass sheets, lead alloys and bronze. Minimum Requirements: WG - Experience or training that has provided the candidate with the ability to plan, manufacture, and install cylindrical, square, or rectangular-shaped objects that have easily constructed fastenings such as single and double-hem edges and single, double or grooved seams. Specialized Experience: WG-09 and above - Experience or training in planning, layout, and construction skills to manufacture items and systems with dovetailed seams, set-in-bottom seams, burred-bottom seams, or wired or lock seams. Experience using more complicated shop tools and equipment. Experience in using metals including stainless steel, copper sheet, magnesium, honeycomb material and alloys. Experience demonstrating the use of more complicated mathematical calculations and complicated measuring instruments. Aircraft Structural Repair experience and previous/current possession of below listed military specialties is preferable: 2A7X3, 2A7X5, NOS A130, or MOS 15G.
