Job Description

About the Position: Serves as the primary proponent for the installation master plan and installation design guide. The plan includes many different types of facilities and land usage such as testing facilities, administrative facilities, utilities, roads, parks and other green space.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Perform a wide variety of master planner functions such as: Developing installation policy and guidance for master planning activities, constructions, architectural standards, real property accountability, and geographic information systems for a military installation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service, GS-12. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Financial Management General Engineering Leadership Program Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
