Job Description

This position is in the Office of Air and Radiation, Office of Transportation and Air Quality, Implementation, Analysis and Compliance Division, Light Duty Vehicle Compliance Branch. About: The Office of Air and Radiation. This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

**Qualifications:**
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements, including any requirements described in the Education section, by the closing date of this announcement. In addition to the basic education requirements, you must have specialized experience and/or directly related education as described below: To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as providing technical advice related to mobile source emissions regulations/compliance or certifications; providing input on criteria pollutant standards and/or fuel economy labeling requirements; and coaching/mentoring others or collaborating with internal or external stakeholders on environmental issues. You will need the following competencies in order to perform the duties of this position successfully: Policy Planning and Execution.* Program/Project Management/Evaluation.* Planning and Evaluating. Coaching and Developing Others. Organizational Awareness. Consultation. Critical Thinking. Technical Knowledge (Related to Position).* *You will be evaluated on these critical competencies.
