Physical Security Specialist

This position is in the Office of Finance and Administration, Office of the Chief Facilities and Security Officer, Real Property and Security Division, Security Management Branch. About: Office of Finance and Administration This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected).

**Qualifications:**
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for the GS-12 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level defined as assisting in the application of the Interagency Security Committee (ISC) Risk Management Process for Federal Facilities to conduct facility security assessments and determine Facility Security Levels (FSL); and ensuring the effective implementation of access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, and related protective measures. You will need the following competencies in order to perform the duties of this position successfully: Physical Security.* Critical Thinking. Decision Making. Compliance and Compliance Inspection.* Written Communication. Attention to Detail.* Oral Communication. *You will be evaluated on these critical competencies.
