Recreation Assistant (Dock Attendant)

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties in support of the Sailing program. This position is located at Naval Station Norfolk's Marina in Norfolk, VA.

Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess: Must possess or complete the NASBLA Approved Safe Power Boating certification and effectively apply new skill sets to small powerboat operation, boat maintenance, water and boating safety within 2 weeks of hire. Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and written to understand instructions given. Must be a mature individual with positive customer service skills, tack and good judgment. Basic skill in the use of hand tools.
