Recreation Assistant (Fitness and Sports)

Position is assigned to the NAF Fitness/Sports/Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) at Naval Station Norfolk in Norfolk, VA. The purpose of this position is to provide a variety of support duties to operate fitness, sports, or aquatic facilities as needed. This position is located a Fitness and Sports Naval Station Norfolk.

A qualified candidate must possess:A minimum one year of work experience which involved dealing with the general public and general knowledge of recreational fitness, sports, or aquatic programs. Skill in operation of equipment to line fields or set up for intramural sporting events. Must be a mature individual who can exercise control over a large group of people to ensure good order and discipline as necessary.Must be skilled in customer service.
