HEALTH PHYSICIST

You will serve as a HEALTH PHYSICIST of NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL.

**Qualifications:**
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of RDT&E facility radiation safety standards, laws, policies, principles and regulations in recommending and developing procedures and controls that are applicable to an extensive range of potential safety risks associated with hazardous research test, experiment, development activities, and military training and experimentation; 2) Accessing extremely complex or unprecedented problems related to dealing with lasers, high pressure gas gun, high voltage rail gun, explosive propellant operations and the handling of noxious and hazardous materials; 3) Presenting and representing at conferences and meeting consultations with other groups concerning radiation safety program objective and issues.
