Job Description
You will serve as a LEAD VISUAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST in the Strategic Communications and Marketing, Code 100PAO Branch of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing management assistance and consultation services to assigned Shipyard departments in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization. Experience gathering and analyzing personnel data, recommends program changes, determines, and implements procedures and assures compliance with program intent. Experience presenting subject matter information in visual form in order to convey intended message to, or have the desired effect on, the intended audience. Experience managing the availability and operation of visual information equipment, supplies, and systems to ensure material readiness and operational performance. Experience analyzing operating problems and providing recommendations and persuading senior level managers to implementing process changes to improve performance, efficiency, economy, and effectiveness of the organization. Experience planning, preparing, creating, and use of photographs, illustrations, drawings, and other art work, charts, diagrams, dioramas, maps, slides, overlays, and other kinds of visual material for use in communicating information through visual means.
