TOOLMAKER

You will serve as a TOOLMAKER in the CNC AND PRECISION MACHINING SHOP (31A), MECHANICAL DIVISION (TRF-320) ofTRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

**Qualifications:**

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION Planning and laying out work orders for tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, punches, dies, molds, relates pieces and portable machinery to be developed, fabricated, overhauled, repaired, calibrated, etc. Establishing the setup of common machine tools to perform special and precise machining operations by devising and constructing fixtures and holding devices. Applying a wide variety of machine shop procedures, techniques and shop mathematics. Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches and other technical specifications.
