Job Description

This vacancy announcement is being filled under the Field Unit Local hiring authority and is open only to residents in the local vicinity of the park. These temporary positions may be filled for a maximum 1560-hour seasonal period, but can vary due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: May-June 2026. **Qualifications:**
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision, i.e., manually loading/unloading of objects and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, digging, shoveling, raking, mowing grass and cutting weeds, operating hand and power garden tools/equipment, operating light duty motor vehicles to transport personnel or equipment. (SCREEN OUT) Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. (other than blueprints) Ability to use and maintain tools Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment Dexterity and Safety Work Practices (Including keeping things neat, clean, and in order) If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration.
