Specialized Experience Statement: GS-14:One year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service that is directly in, or related to, the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: supporting high level executive(s) in within an organization or program area by directing the flow of communications; representing the executive(s) at meetings; preparing complex written materials; assisting with and/or managing special projects; receiving and evaluating internal and external requests for action; planning and coordinating travel arrangements; and liaising between various program areas to disseminate, interpret or receive information; or duties of a similar nature. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
