TRAINING TECHNICIAN

This job opportunity is for an TRAINING TECHNICIAN, position description D0928000, within the G3-JFHQ of the New Jersey National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position. Its purpose is to initiate, research, develop, manage, and control training programs.

**Qualifications:**
General Experience: Must have a minimum of 12 months experience in the following: Understanding basic principles and concepts Performing or learning to perform the duties of the position Following directions, reading, understanding, and retaining a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures Specialized Experience: Must have 12 months Specialized Experience in the following: Organizing and preparing instructional materials Conducting assistance visits and training meetings Understanding and applying formal training objectives Conducting, supervising, or developing education or training programs Determining the instructional methods for class size and subject matter Training program management; scheduling training events and facilities Developing course syllabi, training project outlines, and daily and weekly lesson plans Instructing students by lectures, discussions, demonstrations, group activities, and laboratory work Identifying and conducting individual learning difficulties diagnoses and recommends courses of remedial instruction
