Job Description
You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Logistics Department of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
**Qualifications:**
(GS-14) Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Resume must demonstrate the following specialized experience: - Experience communicating both orally and in writing, to address a wide range of audiences from ship's personnel (masters, chief engineers, supply officers) to senior government management on fleet configuration and logistics support issues. - Experience utilizing computers to include but not limited to performing all automated systems as well as navigating the Internet and Microsoft Office programs. - Experience working within a Federal, DoD component/ environment, commercial supply chain management and third-party logistics implementing best business practices, in areas of material management, storage, distribution, returns and disposal processes. - Experience working with Naval Supply Systems Command / Defense Logistics Agency supply regulations, policies and procedures in supply specializations (inventory, packaging, storing, distributing, or cataloging).
