Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist

**Qualifications:**
To qualify for the Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist, PG -1640-13, you must meet the following requirements: To minimally qualify for the PG-13 level, you must meet the following requirements. One (1) year of specialized experience at the PG-12 (or equivalent) level or higher. Specialized experience includes: (1) Identifying and integrating internal and external program issues affecting immediate organization, such as those involving technical, financial, organizational, and administrative factors; AND (2) Reviewing and approving reports, decisions, and other action documents in his/her team and assures they accurately reflect the policies and positions of the organization; AND (3) Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, set, and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.
