Job Description
The slectee serves as the Division or Branch Chief in the Office of Intelligence Operations, International Affairs Division in Washington, DC. This position manages a specific Branch or Division responsible for law enforcement programs, functions, or operations encompassing the overall law enforcement mission of the organization to which assigned.
**Qualifications:**
To qualify for this position at the GS-15 grade level, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized experience must include all of: Providing leadership to others such as work groups, teams or special projects; AND Analyzing and evaluating law enforcement programs to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Division or Branch operations; AND Advising and providing recommendations to management on projects and policies issues that affects the Division or Branch; AND Negotiating and collaborating with others (i.e. interacting with other law enforcement agency (state, local or federal).
