Job Description
You will serve as a AIRCRAFT PRODUCTION SPECIALIST in the MRO LOGISITICS DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Understanding of aircraft, engines, components, and systems involved in the overhaul and repair process; 2) Controlling, coordinating and expediting the timely and efficient repair or replacement of inoperable or high time components to meet or exceed depot/customer production requirements and deadlines; 3) Identifying proper custodian of aircraft having defective or high time components; 4) Communicating with Type Commanders (TYCOMs), MRO Production Aircraft Branch Teams, and feeder shops to determine which is more cost-effective, repair or replacement; 5) Performing controlled cannibalization to alleviate material shortages.
