SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

You will serve as the Externally Directed Team (EDT) Lead of the E5225 Support Equipment Systems Group of the E522 Multi-Spectral EW Systems Division of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

**Qualifications:**
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13/14) or pay band (NM-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer/scientist. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:1)Demonstrated experience and technical knowledge for support equipment and electronic warfare (EW) systems, including O-level test solutions for existing RF systems, support equipment for subsonic and supersonic aerial targets, and support equipment for missile avionics systems; 2) Experience in managing development and test projects, including establishing budgets, schedules, and preparing funding proposals to address capability gaps; 3) Proven ability to define project requirements, identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and execute projects successfully; 4) Leadership skills to supervise and manage a team of 50 civilians, including evaluating employee performance, providing feedback, and ensuring compliance with safety, security, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations; 5) Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical requirements for emerging technologies, combined with effective communication skills for interfacing with customers, preparing status reports, and providing technical guidance.
