ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (Contracting Officer/Branch Lead) in the Operations and Execution Division Gold, Contracts Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

**Qualifications:**
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional contracting specialist managing acquisition programs to ensure compliance with regulations, optimize performance-based contracting strategies, and lead the procurement process in order to achieve best value for the government and improve initiatives.
