Job Description

This position is with the U. S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), San Francisco Regional Office, with duty location in Oakland, CA. This position is at the full performance level. Position is outside the Bargaining Unit. Selectee will be expected to report to the office listed above.

**Qualifications:**
You must meet the Specialized Experience to qualify for Management Analyst, as described below. A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants must have 52 weeks of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service, which includes: Conducting analysis of work processes for use in evaluating the effectiveness of administrative operations; Communicating both orally and in writing by preparing and presenting information and data to management officials; Participating in administrative planning, policy or decision-making meetings regarding HR-related functions such as manpower, personnel management, or budget; Managing administrative functions such as human resource management, financial management, records management, property management, or training administration.
