MATERIALS HANDLER

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Gold Country Inn at Beale AFB, CA. This position is a RFT and may work 35-40 hours a week. Physical effort in lifting and carrying supplies, materials, and equipment weighing up to 40lbs. Heavier items are moved with equipment or the assistance of other workers. Required to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time. Bends, stoops, and works in tiring or uncomfortable positions.

Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in and knowledge of methods used in receiving, storing, and issuing routine materials and equipment. Must be able to organize, arrange, and remove stock. Skill in use of dollies, jacks, and hand tools used in warehousing tasks. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry object weighing up to 40 pounds.
