Professor of Strategy

The Air War College Department of Strategy invites applications for the Professor of Strategy position beginning summer 2025. AWC is a resident master's degree program for senior military/civilian leaders from the U.S. and partner nations. The department receives excellent financial support for research, conference attendance, and professional development.

**Qualifications:**
Teaching experience (preferably at the graduate level) commensurate with professorial rank sought and/or extensive professional experience and a suitable publication record are required. Broad knowledge of the interdisciplinary subject matter (military/diplomatic history, international relations, leadership, airpower, planning) that comprises the AWC strategic studies curriculum is highly desired. Knowledge of scholarly research methods and ability to conduct inquiry and publish in leading academic venues is required. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively to varied audiences
