Job Description
The Artemis Mission Development Manager (MDM) team is responsible for leading and integrating all development aspects of assigned Artemis missions to achieve science, technology, and human exploration mission objectives in a safe, efficient manner. The MDM works with Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate technical and programmatic integration teams, Space Operations Mission Directorate personnel, operations teams, crew, and other spaceflight stakeholders to accomplish their goals.
**Qualifications:**
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Candidates must be a recognized subject matter expert with at least 1 year of directly related experience equivalent to the GS-15 level in Program/Project Management, Systems Engineering, Safety, and/or Mission Integration in order to make technical and programmatic decisions on integration of complex multi element human spaceflight missions. Such experience includes leading diverse programs, technical authority, and contractor teams, as well as experience in schedule management, making critical mission-specific decisions with limited information in a timely manner, and packaging concise effective communication to stakeholders.
