HEALTH TECHNICIAN (L&D/SURGICAL)

About the Position: This position is with Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in the Directorate of Nursing LDRP Unit in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Assisting physicians with surgical procedures; 2) Arranging equipment and instruments to prepare sterile field while maintaining aseptic techniques; 3) Inspecting surgical supplies and restocking as needed; and 4) Disposing of soiled and/or contaminated materials post-procedure. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-05.
