**Qualifications:**
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Two-year degree from an accredited college or vocational school in fields related to duties of the position OR a minimum of 3 years of specialized and progressively more responsible clerical/administrative/secretarial experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the work of the position; OR an equivalent level of education and experience equivalent to that gained in the above. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and experience in the operation of a PC and peripheral equipment. Must possess proficient experience and knowledge of a variety of integrated software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Adobe Suite Programs, etc. Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to effectively deal with people. Knowledge of military and civilian business administrative principles, concepts, and procedures is highly desired. Knowledge and experience in the development and presentation of budget and financial plans is required; such knowledge specific to NAF type organizations is highly desired. Must have or be able to obtain knowledge of MCCS policies, procedures, and mission. Knowledge of business correspondence and routine office procedures. Must be able to type 45 words per minute (WPM). Must be able to work both independently and on a team based on assignments. Must have the ability to utilize judgment in identifying potential problems and within areas of the position's decision making authority. This activity is a Drug-free workplace.
