About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Schilling Community Center on Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which provides a working familiarity with event planning, routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities equipment, rules and procedures which involves recreational work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must have a valid driver's license. Condition(s) of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable Tier 1 background investigation is required. May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support facility operations and special events. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
