This position is located in the Risk Management Agency (RMA), Deputy Administration for Product Management, Product Administration and Standards Division. This position is designated as mobile work. Mobile work is a condition of employment and is characterized by routine and regular travel to conduct work in customer or other worksites as opposed to a single authorized alternative worksite.

Time-in-Grade Requirement: If you are a current Federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. You must meet this requirement by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience Requirement For the GS-14 grade level: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in Federal service or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: (1) Assessing and evaluating insurance or risk management programs related to crops and interpreting policies to determine their effects on the programs; (2) Providing information and advice concerning an organization's activities to crop producers to improve and expand the insurance program or risk management programs for crops; and (3) Evaluating research trends or projects affecting the development of risk management tools and solutions that are related to crops..
